Juno Reader Response #3

Juno was a great movie, and it got me to thinking. I thought the whole time while watching it. I was unsure how to sit there comfortably while the whole whirl winded plot happened. I enjoyed the whole situation though. I found it interesting, yet funny. I thought to myself why would she do that! While I also thought to myself "what an idiot!" It makes you wonder what she was thinking through the whole movie.

Thought out the movie I can remember enjoying specific parts. I remember when the clerk at the little store told her " your ego is prego!" How do you not laugh at that? Then on the way home, while under distress, she act like she hung herself with a twizzler. Then there was a part I can't remember exactly what happend, but I do know that she became sick. Then she proceeded to vomit in a vase or something. Juno had its ups and downs, but after all I would recomend watching it.

  1. I really liked this movie too. I think it brought a lot of fun and personality to a serious issue that goes on in the world today with teen pregnancy. I can remember watching the movie and thinking the same thing like, "why is she saying that, is this forreal?" Ha! I think maybe her dialogue is a little too whitty, but maybe there are people out there that talk like that and do things that Juno did. I know in the evaluation critics were worried that teens would look at Juno as a role model, and I really don't think they would. I think it was just a movie to give a funny stance to a serious issue. It doesn't mean people are going to go out and get pregnant on purpose. Sorry for my rambling ha! But overall, I agree with your post and think it was a great movie too!
