I think the title says enough! Its even hard to understand. I found this story very hard to fallow. I tried to read this story for two days and took little to nothing out of it. I was distracted by the photos the whole time. I found my self lost in the text.
I was unsure where to go next. Growing up I never liked comics, therefore I never learned how to read them. I found myself assuming how to comperhand them, and go figure I thought wrong! So stumbling through the captions I was able to see the story was about a girl that was from a strange family. Well for starters when the story started the girl was in a dream about her dad dying. Then from there it went on to tell about how her love for art was destroyed. Her father told her she was doing it wrong, he even went on to change it to the way he seen fit. I from then on was lost.
Thanks to the talk in class I was able to further understand it. In the class discussion I was able to see what exactly this girl was talking about, or what the moral of the story was. This girl came from a family that was not passionate, and she got very little love. This girl was almost depressed it seemed in my point of view, and she just wanted some attention. The story is almost sad because how the little girl was treated. On the last page it shows just how diverse they are, but the little girl just goes on doing her art.
